David Tumusiime
Project participant in Uganda
'One of the primary reasons why being published in the online Crossing Borders Magazine is such a thrill to me is that I don't feel like a writer in the old sense anymore. In fact if you were to ask me how I describe myself, I would say I'm a blogger. Blogging is the new writing! So that's what I'm about, blogging in www.madandcrazy.blogspot.com Everything I'm is there.
Strictly biographically speaking, born 26 April 1980, I have known I was born to write since I was 12 years old. That belief has not been swayed by the various eddies I have experienced through a school system that has no idea how to handle creativity from primary school in Buganda Road Primary School to Makerere University. Currently I'm earning my daily bread as a journalist for The New Vision newspaper in Kampala but if you ask me how I live, I'm a blogger!'
