Welcome to the Radiophonics archive, which contains the information, broadcasts and transcripts from the Radiophonics project designed by the British Council to stimulate new writing for English-language radio in Nigeria. Radiophonics continued to develop the important work that was established with Crossing Borders. On this site you will find information about Radiophonics, and you will be able to listen to and read new stories from Uganda and Nigeria, the participating countries. You will also be able to read about the history of the Crossing Borders distance learning creative writing scheme, access back issues of the Crossing Borders magazine and educational resources relevant to creative writing and writing for radio.

Radiophonics is taking place in Nigeria in 2008. A competition for participants has taken place and the project will be launched on 18 February 2008 when theselected participants will be informed. The workshops will start in March.
