Gillian Slovo reads from her work

South African-born novelist, playwright and memoirist Gillian Slovo will read from her work on Thursday 22nd November 2012, 5.30 pm in  LICA Event Studio A27. This event is part of the Centre for Transcultural Writing and Research’s Writing for Liberty series. It is presented in partnership with LitFest, and has been made possible by the generous support of the Lancaster University Friends Fund. There will be a bookstall and refreshments will be provided.  Gillian is the author of twelve novels. Red Dust (2000) was made into a film starring Hilary Swank and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Ice Road (2004) was shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction. Read more about the event.
